Configure how close eligible alternative mini-biomes can generate to the world center.
Keep the world rules
Existing terrain and placement requirements still determine which locations are suitable.
More discovery within reach
Closer Mini-Biomes adjusts the placement of Valheim’s alternative mini-biomes. It gives players control over minimum distances and a preference for closer eligible locations.
Changing distance settings does not guarantee that a biome will fit in a particular place, and already-generated areas are not rebuilt.
Development
I created the generation adjustments and configuration controls as an independent Valheim mod. The approach changes distance and preference rules while retaining the game’s other placement conditions.
